One of my favorite places to get dessert in Tokyo. The only thing I didn’t like is that when you sit down to eat everyone must order a drink. Price is under ¥1000 per piece of cake and they have a large selection of many delicious cakes.
Love their crep cake; definitely not lady M .
Fresh fruit cake is classic! Single slice is large enough for two to share 😋
The cakes were quite tasty. I didn’t appreciate the requirement to buy drinks in addition to buying the cakes. Also, the wait after ordering (almost 30 minutes) for arrival of a pre-made cake slice and tea was too long.
Very tasty cake, but a little expensive and you have to buy a drink if you want to sit down to eat.
I didn’t expect this popular mille crepes with fruits from Harbs was this good. The cream is very smooth but not too sweet, nor filling. The fruits are fresh and match perfectly with the crepes. I want to take a second piece right after the first!! (I didn’t dare to ...)
friendly stuff and nice place
Heard about the long line, so we decided to go before 6pm and take the cakes to go. When we got there, only a few people a head of us. The staff was helpful. The banana cream pie was ok, but the Millie crepe was excellent! Lots of fruit in so many layers and the crust was nice and crispy. Awesome cake!
Best cakes in Tokyo in a refined atmosphere at Lumine Est. The morning when they open is the best time to go as Harbs feels Very Quickly.
Cakes are really well prepared but you need to order a drink for every person at the table. Tea and coffee just decent
This is a review for the pear mille feuille. The layers are bland and soggy. Pear has no pear flavor. Only taste cream in this cake. It was packed with great care with 2 ice packs but this was disappointing.
HARBS in Lumine department store brought me a nice lunch time. The LUNCH time, I repeat it again.HARBS offer the set lunch specials, I can enjoy the spaghetti and cake in a fair price. I ordered the chicken spaghetti with cream sauce because I thought this restaurant provides nice cream cake and they might use nice cream to making cream sauce. The fact turned out I was right, that the chicken was very tender and the flavor was nice.I cannot accept only having a large cake with a little expensive price in this shop, but the set lunch specials is worth to have.
Delicious food very nice staff
The cream in the crepe was light and fluffy, the fruits were abundant in the crepes, making it delightful to enjoy. Although the queue was long we managed to get a seat in around 30-45 minutes. The Japanese waitresses were extremely polite, making the entire afternoon tea experience delightful!
Someone claims that the price is a little high,. Personally I think it's quite reasonable, based on the size and quality of the cakes. The cream butter they make is absolutely impressive, not greasy at all, and makes every kind of fruit join together well. Might need tho que for 15 mins if you want to enjoy in the restaurant.
Cakes are good. But after you order them, the server makes you order one drink per person when you sit down at a table. I went with my family of four so I spent way more for cakes and coffee than I did for my delicious tonkatsu lunch for four.
Not bad but overrated...quite expensiveCoffee very bitter
How is this place labelled as a creperie when they don't have any crepes on their menu?
Sweet fruit tarts and cakes, bling bling, it catches people's eye, also satisfied tongue.
A bit crowded but the take away line is short and fast. I’m their all time strawberry cake fan.
Personally, I think Harbs is an overrated, overpriced experience. First of all, all customers are required to buy a drink (which are all ~600 yen or above). You cannot order a free water to meet this requirement. Secondly, the cake was extremely average. I had the plain New York Cheesecake and there was nothing special about it. It was rich and dense and I was sad there wasn’t an option with strawberries on top. I had a bite of my friend’s layered crepe/fruit specialty cake and it was mostly rich whipped cream. The cafe looks high class and the cakes impressive, but I paid 1500 yen to wait in line for 30 minutes and an unmemorable cake and drink. This is 2 stars because the food wasn’t “bad†but...
IT IS ON FLOOR B2. CAKES ARE GOOD. But don’t order more than one cake per person. Need to order one drink for each dine in person.
A perfect cake shop!!
Absolutely no way you are going to get into the restaurant on weekends. Most Harbs are big and spacious whereas this branch is tiny and narrow.
A great and popular cake shop. Arrived before 12 pm on Friday, only has to wait for 10 mins to get the table. Lunch menu is value for money, with salad, pasta, half pc of cake and a drink at 1,600 yen.
Whenever I went to this restaurant I took at least 30minutes in queuingBut it is worth to wait 😋😋
Harbs is one of those restaurants u just go back and back and back. Days are lining up for 1 hour but you just going back with ur friends. Lunch set or afternoon tea. Some of the cakes are not as good as other ones. Just have to try it out and find your fav ones. Lunch set worth the value. Recommend
The size of it is the only interesting part! We got two cakes to go so we don't need to pay for another two drinks to just sit in by their shop rule! The strawberry one was with lot of big berries so when you eat it you only feel like you are having berries, but berries cake plus the cake dough wasn't good. The other one we got their best seller fruit crape cake one, was nice but since it really not so hard to made also the price of these cakes are still too high compare to what you got, we don't recommend it. You can find somewhere else with similar ideas but with more reasonable price before they get fancy yet!
Obviously high quality cake with nice staffs
So disappointed! So normal ,but it cost 1100yen🤷ðŸ½â€â™€ï¸Chocolate so sweet a little bit bitter , but still so sweet can’t even finish half
Not impressed with the cake. LadyM was way better. Plus, they ask you to order at least one drink on top of the cake, which seems unreasonable
You MUST buy at least 1 drink per person even if you take every cake on the menu, that's a requirement. So my experience was not good, but I took the cake away and ate at home, it was good.
Oh my gosh, this is very nice cake shop. It’s better to choose cakes with fruits. The whip cream is very light and fruits are fresh. You must try here!!!
Winter is strawberry season! Which means there’s strawberry shortcakes! It’s located on B2 near Shinjuku station. We went after dinner at around 830pm and the restaurant was full!We just wanted to eat cakes, however the waitress said everyone needs to order a drink.
Good place for a rest from shopping. There might be a long line waiting but the turn over rate is high. The fruity pastry items are always as good as you expected.
Love to the called here, a bit pricey but really yum. I recommend the honey lemon soda drink, the restaurant side of it requires you to order a drink per person. Didn't try their other items but their pasta looked really good!!
my fav sweet cafe, love to back here everytime i’m in Tokyo
Suggest to go when it open. I passed by the shop during lunch and the queue was long... So be prepared to queue! Wanted to try the famous mille crepes but was told it was out of stock. We followed the staff recommendation to try the strawberry tarte and it was super addictive. No regrets! They served set lunch that comes with 1 drink, salad and half cake. They made it compulsory for every diner to order 1 drink. The mocha cake tastes so so.
The best cake I met in Japan!!!!
The lunch price are resonable n the not bad.The services are good
Strawberry cake is the best! Coffee is above standard Japanese coffee's quality.
LOVE was an understatement for our obsession with Harb's cakes! It is our own traditional that we would buy takeaways to enjoy at the hotel.
Not worth the time to queue for 40 mins to sit down and try the cake. The deco is nice but nothing really surprises you from the service to the food. The layer fruit cake is not my type and I prefer the strawberry cake. The coffee is average. If you really wanna try their cakes, just buy take away.
Everything was good just the queue is quite long
Husband and I will never forget the amazing cakes here
Nice cakes, but pricey. Most customers are tourist, the place and is crowded and noisy. About $15 for a set of tea and cake. There is much better place to enjoy afternoon tea in Tokyo.
Delicious cakes with great coffee!
Their fruit cakes are so good. It’s flavorful but not too sweet. My top recommendation for desserts in Japan.
Favorite dessert in Tokyo. The Mille crepes is a must.
Morron cake is really good, cause I'd like traditional flavor better than the others, and It's not so sweet, try to order a cup of tea, maybe you'll like it.
